Future Energy Conversations
Future Energy Conversations are opportunities for the community to engage with experts about future energy in the Northern Territory, and for the energy industry to listen to community perspectives.
The inaugural speaker was Malcolm Conway, Power and Water Corporation’s System Control General Manager. Mr Conway spoke about his team’s regulated role in managing the Alice Springs power system, and the opportunities and challenges associated with the integration of renewable energy.
A second Future Energy Conversation involved students from Centralian Middle School. The year sevens heard from renewable energy engineers, and enjoyed a tour of the DKA Solar Centre.
