As part of our focus areas on knowledge sharing and social benefits to the desert, DKA has collated information and situational updates around COVID-19 which relate directly to Central Australia. This page contains information on health and hygiene, the current situation, terminology, recommended procedures, and available services.
CURRENT SITUATION, 28 April
4 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Central Australia
All cases are being treated at the Alice Springs Hospital. There are no known cases of community transmission in Central Australia at this point.
