The DKA Solar Centre teamed up with the Intyalheme Centre for Future Energy to present Sunset Stories at the Solar Centre, for October Business Month 2019.
Attendees heard from Desert Knowledge Precinct Elder-in-Residence Harold Furber, DKA CEO Dr Dan Tyson, Intyalheme General Manager Glenn Marshall and Intyalheme Communications Officer Andrea Johnston, who spoke about the World Solar Challenge, and interviewed Power and Water Corporation’s Dow Airen, who was at the forefront of the ARENA-funded world first NT Solar Energy Transformation Program.
After the knowledge sharing and networking element of the event, which was held at the café on the Desert Knowledge Precinct, Ekistica engineer Ashleigh Atkins led a tour of the DKA Solar Centre, which was enjoyed by a hugely engaged audience who posed many questions.
